Gabrielle Wright has won Netflix’s Wonka’s The Golden Ticket, securing a $3 million prize after beating Taylor in the competition’s two-part finale.
The 22-year-old triumphed in the final challenge by correctly identifying more jury votes than her rival. Wright made 11 correct guesses, while Taylor managed 10.
Wright will receive the prize in instalments of $100,000 a year for 30 years. Her partner on the series was her best friend, Sasha.

The final two faced a quiz based on the votes cast by a jury of eliminated contestants. Rather than directly deciding the winner, the votes were used to test how well the finalists could predict the jury’s choices.
Wright’s extra correct answer gave her the victory and ended a competition that began with 12 Golden Ticket winners and their partners entering a recreation of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory.
The contestants faced a series of physical, mental and moral tests, with the prize reserved for one winner. Six competitors remained at the start of the final two episodes.
Austin Keil was the first finalist to leave, losing a deciding challenge against Garrison Wilson after drawing the bad egg.
Bryce Lee was eliminated next after being separated from his girlfriend, Taylor. The pair had to play a guessing game to decide who would continue, and Lee deliberately failed in order to send Gabrielle through.
Ziad Mansour then departed after the remaining four contestants collected coins for a subsequent challenge. Gabrielle took the three additional coins available, leaving Ziad without enough to progress when the players distributed their coins among one another.
Wilson finished third after the last three contestants entered a maze containing three games. Gabrielle completed the tasks first and Taylor followed, securing their places in the final showdown.
The concluding two episodes of Wonka’s The Golden Ticket were released on Wednesday, September 30.
