Kroy Biermann has been ordered to pay more than $64,000 after failing to honour a casino credit agreement linked to a 2021 trip to the Bahamas.
Sky Warrior, which manages credit lines and operates the Baha Mar Casino, brought proceedings against the former NFL linebacker in 2023. Biermann did not respond to the case, and the company pursued enforcement through the courts.
A Fulton County judge approved the transfer of the enforcement action to Georgia on 17 March, allowing Sky Warrior to seek payment in Biermann’s home state.
The ruling awards the company $52,500, plus pre-judgment interest, as well as $11,927.35 in legal fees and costs.
Court documents show Biermann was served with the post-judgment order at his home on 28 August. He and his estranged wife, former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak, have been living in separate rental properties in the Atlanta area during their ongoing divorce.
The couple were previously removed from their Milton, Georgia, mansion after a foreclosure battle and sale.
KJ Biermann released on $200,000 bond
The order was served days after the couple’s 15-year-old son, KJ, was arrested at Zolciak’s home on 17 August. He was later indicted on seven felony charges arising from an alleged sexual assault involving a female classmate.
KJ was released on a $200,000 bond on Friday, subject to strict conditions. He must remain at his mother’s home, attend school virtually and undergo electronic monitoring.
The teenager has also been ordered not to use social media or a mobile phone and is barred from direct or indirect contact with the alleged victim, her family or anyone under the age of 16.
The alleged incident is said to have taken place at a Life Time fitness centre in Alpharetta, Georgia, on 23 April. The charges include aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy, aggravated sexual battery, three counts of sexual battery against a child under 16 and false imprisonment.
Prosecutors told the court that KJ had previously faced a juvenile sexual battery case in October 2025. His lawyer, Jason Sheffield, rejected that characterisation, saying the earlier matter involved “inappropriate, crude behavior involving two middle-schoolers” and did not result in an adjudication for statutory rape, sexual intercourse or a comparable offence.
Sheffield has applied for KJ’s case to be transferred to Georgia’s juvenile justice system, arguing that he is young enough to be rehabilitated. His plea and arraignment hearing is scheduled for 14 October.
Zolciak and Biermann attended Friday’s bond hearing in support of their son. Zolciak has denied the allegations against KJ, describing them as “reckless and deeply troubling”, and said he had voluntarily taken and passed a polygraph examination.
