Rapper Tyga has been sued for fraud and breach of contract by a Beijing management company over allegations that he failed to appear for two scheduled performances.
Beijing Tongxing Wanxin Catering Management claims Tyga had agreed to perform at Club Pac Star on August 4 and October 27, 2023, but did not attend either date despite allegedly receiving payment.
The company says it was told the rapper would reschedule the appearance during the first or second quarter of 2024. It claims that this did not happen.
Beijing Tongxing Wanxin Catering Management further alleges that only $10,000 was refunded under a settlement, leaving $135,000 outstanding from the $145,000 it says it was owed.
The company is seeking to recover the remaining $135,000, plus interest and punitive damages, through the legal action.
