Five Premier League clubs are monitoring Club Brugge striker Nicolò Tresoldi after his latest scoring display intensified interest in the Germany Under-21 international.
Chelsea and Manchester City are understood to be leading the pursuit, while Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle are also keeping watch on the 12-goal forward.
Tresoldi scored three times in the Belgian league at the weekend, taking his tally to 12 goals in 13 appearances this season. His form has increased speculation that a move to England could follow next summer.
Club Brugge place major valuation on Nicolò Tresoldi
Club Brugge have established a reputation for developing promising players and selling them for significant fees. The Belgian club are now seeking a record fee for Tresoldi.
Brugge received €40 million for Christos Tzolis during the summer, and Tresoldi could command twice that amount if he maintains his current scoring rate.
The striker’s emergence has therefore placed him among the latest young forwards attracting Premier League attention, with five clubs having scouts present to assess him in person.
