Everton are considering a move for Palmeiras striker Vitor Roque ahead of the 2027 transfer window, but the Brazilian club are understood to value the 21-year-old at no less than €50 million (£44 million).
Roque has emerged as a potential attacking target for the Merseyside club as they assess their options in front of goal. Several Premier League sides have also shown interest in the forward.
Everton face €50m valuation for Vitor Roque
Brazilian journalist Diego Firmino reports that Palmeiras are unwilling to negotiate below their €50m asking price, despite Roque enduring a more difficult campaign than his previous season.
Roque scored 20 goals and supplied five assists in 51 appearances for Palmeiras in 2025, performances which reportedly attracted attention from Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham.
Palmeiras paid €25.5m to bring the striker back from Barcelona, with additional bonuses potentially increasing the total cost. Barcelona also retained 20 per cent of his economic rights, while Roque is under contract with the Brazilian club until December 2029.
His form has dipped this season, with nine goals and one assist in 39 appearances. An ankle injury required surgery and kept him out for roughly three months between April and July.
Roque has continued to show his potential since returning to action, and his experience with Barcelona and Real Betis could appeal to Everton. However, it remains uncertain whether the Premier League club would be willing to meet Palmeiras’ substantial valuation.
The 2027 transfer window could offer Roque an opportunity to rebuild his form, but Everton are expected to seek assurances before committing such a significant fee.
