Arsenal and Manchester City are monitoring Newcastle United defender Tino Livramento as uncertainty grows over the England international’s long-term future.
The 23-year-old right-back remains under contract at St James’ Park until the summer of 2028, but Newcastle could consider a sale next summer if talks over an extension fail to make meaningful progress.
Arsenal and Manchester City track Tino Livramento
Both Premier League clubs have previously shown an interest in signing Livramento and are continuing to follow his situation, according to a report.
Newcastle have resisted approaches in the past and are not actively seeking to offload the defender. The club remain keen to retain a player they regard highly, but his contract position could force them to weigh up their options.
Livramento’s fitness may also have a bearing on any decision. He made only 14 Premier League starts last season and has featured for just 33 minutes in the competition during the 2026/27 campaign after suffering another injury setback.
Despite those concerns, his ability and versatility continue to attract interest. Arsenal could view him as an addition to their defensive options, while Manchester City may be interested in his attacking qualities and flexibility on the right flank.
Much is likely to depend on Livramento’s recovery and whether Newcastle can make sufficient progress towards agreeing fresh terms in the coming months.
