One Camelback, a former office building in Uptown Phoenix, has been transformed into a luxury apartment complex at the intersection of Central Avenue and Camelback Road.
The redevelopment is featured by FOX 10 reporter Syleste Rodriguez as part of the station’s Cool House series, showcasing the building’s conversion into high-end residential accommodation in the heart of the city.
The 11-storey tower had stood vacant for years before work resumed under new ownership. Kinella Capital bought the property for $36 million and oversaw the completion of the long-delayed project.
One Camelback now contains 163 apartments, ranging from studios to three-bedroom penthouses. The homes include floor-to-ceiling windows, smart-home technology, Samsung appliances, quartz worktops, wood-style flooring and exposed concrete ceilings.

The development has been designed around a 150-foot atrium, with residents also offered access to a rooftop pool and spa, fitness studio, clubhouse, lounge areas and controlled-access parking.
Official floorplans show studio apartments starting at about $1,625 a month, while three-bedroom penthouses can cost as much as $10,000 a month. The largest homes offer sweeping views across Phoenix, including Camelback Mountain and the city skyline.
The ground floor includes 11,000 square feet of retail space. A health optimisation centre is planned alongside other commercial tenants, although the residential units are already available to renters.
One Camelback’s owners describe the project as an adaptive reuse of an existing office tower, giving a previously empty building a new role as one of Uptown Phoenix’s newest luxury addresses.
