Frankie Muniz has shared a family photograph with his estranged wife, Paige Price, and their son, Mauz, days after describing the previous six weeks as a “nightmare”.
The actor posted two pictures taken in the car following Mauz’s football match. Muniz is seen smiling while Price pulls faces for the camera, in an apparent display of family togetherness.
In the caption, the Malcolm in the Middle star wrote: “Post soccer shenanigans with the fam. Our little dude got a medal for excellence in sportsmanship!”
The post came a day after Price shared a cryptic message on her Instagram Stories. In a clip showing her making a wax seal, she wrote: “Life is all about perspective. If you ask the grass, the zebra is the monster and the lion is the protector.”
Concern about Muniz’s wellbeing began after he wrote that “the last 6 weeks of my life have been a nightmare I’m praying to wake up from.”
He also said he had reached “rock bottom”, describing everything as “heavy”, “unclear” and as though it was “falling apart”.
Muniz later added: “This isn’t the end of the story. It’s the part where I start doing the work … the uncomfortable, unglamorous, necessary work.”
