Kim Kardashian has said Ryan Murphy deliberately surrounded her with acclaimed actors on All’s Fair to help her succeed in the Hulu drama.
The reality star and actress discussed the decision while appearing on The View alongside co-stars Niecy Nash-Betts and Naomi Watts, as they promoted the show’s second season.
Kardashian said Murphy’s casting choices gave her the opportunity to learn from experienced performers, while also providing support as she developed her role.
“I think he was intentional in setting me up for success by surrounding me with, like, the best of the best actors in the world that I could learn from, but that, like, I could, you know, hide behind if I needed to because they are so amazing,” she said.
Watts rejected the suggestion that Kardashian had relied on her co-stars, telling her: “You did not hide, girl.”
She added: “From how she started on day one to how she ended up on the last day of season two, we were watching, you know. You just grew and expanded in extraordinary ways.”
Nash-Betts also praised Kardashian’s performance, saying: “You brought your A game, baby. We were all so impressed with you.”

The second season follows the lawyers of Grant, Ronson & Greene as new alliances emerge, friendships come under pressure and a revelation threatens the future of the firm.
Three episodes were released on Hulu on Wednesday November 4, with further episodes scheduled to arrive weekly on Wednesdays.
