A 28-year-old woman is fighting for her life after a triple stabbing in Dandenong, Melbourne’s south-east, which led to a nearby primary school being placed into lockdown.
Emergency services were called to a property in Woodlee Street at about 11.30am on Friday, where they found three people with stab wounds.
The woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Two men, aged 26 and 35, were also hospitalised in a serious condition.
Police believe those involved were known to each other and said they were not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident.
“Police are not looking for anyone else,” Leading Senior Constable Simon Smyth said.
Dandenong North Primary School was locked down while emergency services responded. Parents were reportedly told to collect their children as usual, with safety protocols put in place during the incident near the school.
The Education Department said all students and staff were safe, and that the school resumed its normal timetable after police advised it was safe to do so.
“Dandenong North Primary School is providing wellbeing support to any students and staff who need it,” a department spokesman said.
