Gypsy Rose Blanchard has been invited to attend Ken Urker’s funeral in Texas, where his family is from, when arrangements are finalised, family sources have said.
Although Urker’s sister Autumn has expressed her disapproval of Blanchard, she is said to have a positive relationship with the rest of his family. His mother, Raina, reportedly likes Blanchard, while Urker’s parents do not blame her for anything.
Blanchard is understood to be open to attending the Texas service. She also wants to hold a separate funeral in Louisiana so that members of her family who cannot travel can pay their respects.
Blanchard and members of Urker’s family, excluding Autumn, held a private viewing over the weekend, where they said their final goodbyes.
The couple’s daughter, Aurora, was present and is said to have recognised Urker, calling him “Daddy”.
Blanchard and Urker had been spending time apart before his death, but sources said they had not fully ended their relationship. They had also been planning to move into a new home together.
