Cara Delevingne has revealed how Taylor Swift recruited her for a surprise appearance in the singer’s “Patient Zero” music video.
The model and singer, 34, appears alongside Dakota Johnson and Collin Ferrell in the video for Swift’s new track. Speaking in an interview with Bustle, Delevingne said Swift called her with the idea while she was driving home.
Delevingne recalled hearing the song for the first time and immediately wanting to listen to it repeatedly.
“I remember hearing [the song] for the first time and going, ‘How long is it going to be until this song comes out? I can’t wait to have it on repeat,’” she said.
She said she was immediately willing to take part when Swift phoned her about the video.
“I love working with friends,” Delevingne said. “It’s the most incredible thing. But the scope of it, the idea, every single detail, the Easter eggs, all of it — it’s unfathomable how someone can do all of those things and do them so well.”
Delevingne added of Swift: “She’s a genius, she really is.”
