Kelly Rowland has declined to say whether Destiny’s Child will reunite during Jay-Z’s 2027 Super Bowl halftime show, saying the decision is not hers to discuss.
Jay-Z is due to headline the performance in February, with his wife Beyoncé widely expected to appear as a guest. The prospect has fuelled speculation that Beyoncé, Rowland and Michelle Williams could perform together again.
Asked about the possibility at the Airbnb Gala, Rowland told People: “That’s none of my business. That’s his performance. That’s none of my business.”
The three members of Destiny’s Child were recently together at Jay-Z’s concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, the same venue scheduled to host the Super Bowl.
“We were there for our big brother, Bey’s there for her man,” Rowland said. “He put on a hell of a show. Friday was incredible, but Saturday? I don’t know how that roof was still on because the energy in there was just palpable. It was absolutely amazing.”
Destiny’s Child last performed together at the final show of Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour in July 2025. Before that, the trio had shared a stage in March 2015, two years after making a surprise appearance during Beyoncé’s Super Bowl halftime show.
The group also marked the 25th anniversary of its third album, Survivor, earlier this year.
