Gigi Hadid has marked the opening of her new Guest in Residence store on New York’s Madison Avenue, posing outside the venue with a cake before welcoming guests to the brand’s latest location.
The 31-year-old model attended the opening party on Friday evening, 30 October, wearing pieces from the luxury knitwear and apparel label, which she founded in 2022 and leads as creative director.
The Madison Avenue shop is Guest in Residence’s second in New York and fourth overall. The brand also has stores in Beverly Hills and Malibu, California, where Hadid grew up.
Hadid told Vogue that the aim was to create a relaxed, homely atmosphere in the new space. “We wanted this store to feel like our little residence in New York,” she said. “I always want the stores to feel like somewhere that people can walk in and sit on a couch and have a yap.”

For the event, Hadid wore the Tartan Wrap Skirt from the brand’s autumn 2026 collection with a brown vest top, leather jacket and knee-high boots. She completed the look with a small bag shaped like a potted plant.
The colour of the skirt she wore was sold out online, although the style remained available in the “Butter Combo” and “Reservoir Combo” colourways. Inside the party, she changed into the Jane Checker Cardigan, also from the autumn collection.
Hadid and her sister, Bella Hadid, previously appeared together in Guest in Residence’s autumn 2026 campaign.
