Madeline Holtznagel and Justin Hemmes have fuelled engagement speculation after she displayed a large diamond ring at a charity luncheon in Sydney.
The couple attended the 2026 Ladies Luncheon Committee for the Royal Hospital for Women Foundation at Mimi’s in Coogee, where Holtznagel draped her left arm around the billionaire Merivale boss.
The ring attracted attention at the event, with one onlooker describing the diamond as “dazzling”. Holtznagel, 29, had previously been seen wearing a giant diamond ring outside the waterfront mansion she shares with Hemmes, 53, in June.
She wore a beige floral minidress by Magda Butrym, priced at $3,244, with René Caovilla sandals, a Saint Laurent clutch and a diamond cuff. Hemmes wore a tailored grey suit, white shirt and navy patterned tie.
The pair have been together since 2019 and generally keep their private life out of the spotlight. The latest appearance comes after Holtznagel appeared to all but confirm reports that they were engaged.
Holtznagel and Hemmes welcomed their first child together in June 2025. She announced the arrival on Instagram with photographs and the caption: “Jaeger Justin Hemmes. 1.06.25.”
Speaking to Stellar magazine, Holtznagel said she was excited to begin a “new journey” with Hemmes after the birth of their son.
“I always thought I was going to have a boy. I knew I was going to be a boy mum,” she said.
“Justin has two beautiful little girls, so having a boy, it’s like a whole new journey together.”
“[The baby] is going to be his little best mate.”
Holtznagel said she had chosen to keep much of her pregnancy private, explaining that she did not usually share a great deal of her life online.
“I haven’t posted about it and it’s been nice to have some quiet time off Instagram,” she said.
Hemmes also has two daughters, Alexa, nine, and Saachi, seven, with his former partner Kate Fowler. Holtznagel is the younger sister of model Simone Holtznagel.
