A naked fan disrupted The Chainsmokers’ set at Austin City Limits festival, dancing in the crowd before allegedly causing a disturbance near the sound booth at Zilker Park in Austin, Texas.
Video from the electronic duo’s performance on Friday night appears to show the man dancing without any clothes as the music played. He was also said to have smeared mud over himself.
Witnesses claimed the man became aggressive towards workers near the sound booth, throwing punches and attempting to damage sound equipment. The reported chaos is said to have lasted about 10 minutes.
The incident reportedly attracted the attention of The Chainsmokers, with Drew Taggart said to have reacted to the naked festivalgoer from the stage.
It is unclear what prompted the man’s behaviour or whether police became involved.
