Real Madrid are considering a January loan move for Endrick as the 20-year-old striker seeks greater opportunities, although the club are not prepared to sanction a permanent departure.
Endrick’s representatives held talks with Madrid during the international break to seek clarity over his role. The club is understood to recognise the player’s frustration but has no intention of allowing him to leave permanently in January.
Endrick loan move could lead to Premier League
A temporary transfer is now being considered, but it would reportedly be a “dry” loan, meaning there would be no option for the borrowing club to buy him at the end of the spell.
The situation has become more pressing after Endrick returned to a limited role at Real Madrid at the start of the season. His lack of regular minutes has raised concerns about whether he is getting enough first-team football to continue his development.
His lack of involvement for Madrid was highlighted during the latest international break, when he played more minutes for Brazil than he had managed for his club across the previous 12 months.
Arsenal have been suggested as one possible destination if Real Madrid approve a loan. However, the report also identifies Aston Villa and Fulham as clubs where Endrick could have a greater chance of playing regularly, despite their lower profile compared with Madrid.
For now, Madrid’s position is that Endrick remains part of their long-term plans. A January loan could offer him the regular football he wants while allowing the Spanish club to retain control of his future.
