A rescue operation is under way after a teenage boy fell from a cliff near Major Street in Coogee, close to Gordons Bay in Sydney’s east.
Witnesses reported that the boy plunged from the cliff at about 1pm on Friday.
NSW Ambulance said he had possible back injuries, along with scratches and abrasions.
A helicopter has been called to winch the boy to safety before he is airlifted to hospital.
