Russell Brand is under investigation for two further alleged rapes, including a claim from a woman who says she was 16 when she was sexually assaulted.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed the additional investigation on Thursday. One of the women alleges that Brand arranged for a car to collect her from school for meetings during which he sexually assaulted her.
The new allegations emerged after Brand was found guilty of one count of rape and three counts of sexual assault on Thursday. He was taken into custody after being denied bail.
The Met has also released interview videos recorded between 2023 and 2025. In them, Brand described having a “very promiscuous life” but said he had “never engaged in any non-consensual sexual activity”.
Brand is due to be sentenced on Monday.
Kirsty Brimelow, chairwoman of the Bar Council, said he could face between “six and nine years” in prison for the offences for which he was convicted.
