Blanche defended President Trump’s social media post attacking the Supreme Court’s mail-in ballot ruling as “horrible” and “highly political”, saying the president should make his frustrations with the justices public.
“He is very frustrated,” Blanche said, adding that Mr Trump had “every right and indeed he should communicate his concerns with the Supreme Court whenever he has them”.
Blanche said the president’s criticism was not unprecedented, telling reporters: “This isn’t the first time he’s done it and it won’t be the last.”
