Premier League newcomers Hull City have completed a £21m move for Ilyas Ansah from Union Berlin as clubs across England and Europe continue to finalise their business on transfer deadline day.
The summer window in England closes at 11pm on Tuesday, September 1, with a series of moves confirmed across the Premier League, Championship and the EFL.
Transfer deadline day deals across the EFL
Burnley defender Joe Worrall has joined Championship rivals Wrexham for an undisclosed fee, while Brighton midfielder Caylan Vickers has moved to League One side Burton Albion.
Northampton have brought in Josh Powell from Nottingham Forest on loan in League Two. In the Scottish Premiership, Leyton Orient midfielder Dylan Levitt has completed an undisclosed transfer to Motherwell.
Ansah’s move to Hull represents a significant step for the 21-year-old forward, who joined Union Berlin from SC Paderborn in June 2025. He scored twice in a pre-season draw with Cagliari earlier this summer before making the switch to England.
Marc Guiu leaves Chelsea for RB Leipzig
Chelsea forward Marc Guiu has also left the Premier League, joining RB Leipzig for £14.6m, including add-ons.
The permanent transfer was confirmed by Chelsea, who said the Spain Under-21 international made 29 appearances for the club and scored eight goals. Guiu was also part of the side that won the Conference League, scoring six times during the campaign.
Sunderland forward Luis Semedo has moved to French club Clermont for an undisclosed fee, completing the deals currently listed from around Europe and beyond.
Clubs in the Scottish Premiership and the Women’s Super League have longer to complete their business, with their deadlines set for 5pm and 11pm respectively on Thursday, September 3.
