Anna Pigeon season two has not yet been confirmed by USA Network, with the mystery drama’s future still undecided as its first series approaches its finale.
The 10-part show stars Tracy Spiridakos as Anna Pigeon, a former city resident who becomes a national park ranger after suffering a devastating loss. She is subsequently drawn into investigations involving crimes committed on national park grounds.
Anna Pigeon season two renewal remains undecided
As of October 2, USA Network had made no announcement renewing the series for a second season. The network had also not confirmed that the programme had been cancelled.
The uncertainty comes as the first season nears its conclusion. The ninth episode, titled “Nature vs. Nurture”, is centred on a shooting that hits close to home while Anna’s sister Molly is visiting.
The season finale, “SOS”, is scheduled to air on Friday October 9 at 10pm ET on USA Network.
Anna Pigeon is adapted from Nevada Barr’s bestselling series of novels. Alongside Spiridakos, the cast includes Ronnie Rowe Jr., Paulina Alexis, Melanie Scrofano, Manuel Rodriguez-Saenz, Tricia Helfer, Cooper Levy, Ryan Northcott, Jordan Sledz, Crystle Lightning and Nikki Hallow.
For now, viewers will have to wait for USA Network to decide whether Anna Pigeon will return beyond its 10-episode first season.
