The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says they’ve charged a man in the cold case murder of a Jeff Davis County pastor decades after the killing. It’s been more than 30 years since 54-year-old James Hand was found shot to death on the roof of his church. Authorities say on June 1, 1996, deputies with the Jeff Davis County Sheriff’s Office discovered Hand’s body. A 17-year-old boy, Louis has died after being ambushed and beaten to death by a group of five attackers in Narbonne, southern France, with his killers filming themselves repeatedly kicking him in the head while mocking him as he lay dying on the ground. The investigation began Sunday, when the Novi police and fire departments were notified of a possible missing person. An Air Canada flight out of Newark, New Jersey was forced to divert and land at Boston’s Logan Airport after the pilot became “incapacitated,” Massachusetts State Police said. According to FlightAware, the plane departed Newark Liberty International Airport at 12:39 p.m. on Wednesday and was bound for Halifax, Nova Scotia.
