Christine McGuinness has shared photographs of herself relaxing in a sauna above the London skyline, wearing a green bikini and telling followers she needed time to “calm my mind”.
The 38-year-old television personality said she was giving herself “some much needed stillness” after enjoying a break from the demands of her busy schedule.
Alongside the images, she wrote: “A little less noise, a moment to think, feel and just be me, with a gawjus view to calm my mind.”
She added: “Hot and high above London skyline. Giving myself some much needed stillness. A little quiet, a little warmth and a moment where nobody needs anything from me!”
McGuinness recently returned to the UK after a holiday in Ibiza with her friend, singer Duncan James, whom she met while appearing on The Real Full Monty in 2021.
She shared footage from the trip last week, showing herself in a gold two-piece as she spent time on a yacht and in the sea with James and his boyfriend, model and actor Alexandre Roque.
Reflecting on the holiday, McGuinness said she had spent two of her three nights in Ibiza “pretty much hiding in my room” before James encouraged her to join the group.
“No questions. No judgement. No pressure. Just the perfect amount of ‘come on baby, you’re coming out’,” she wrote.
McGuinness shares twins Leo and Penelope, 13, and Felicity, nine, with her former husband, Paddy McGuinness, 53.
The former couple have previously said they continue to live together in their Cheshire mansion, in separate wings, to avoid unsettling their children. McGuinness has described Paddy as “a huge part of my life” despite the end of their marriage.
Speaking ahead of an appearance on Ireland’s Unfiltered With Lucy Kennedy Show, she said it would be “strange” to live without him one day, but added that their current arrangement worked because they were no longer married.
