Premier League, Scottish Premiership, EFL and Women’s Super League clubs are continuing to reshape their squads before the summer transfer window closes on Tuesday, 1 September.
BBC Sport’s latest transfer tracker brings together the significant completed signings and departures from August, covering permanent moves, loans and free transfers across the domestic game.
The Premier League’s higher-profile business includes Nicolas Jackson’s £65m move from Chelsea to Aston Villa, while Brentford have signed West Ham defender El Hadji Malick Diouf for £40m. Aston Villa have also agreed a £51m deal to send Ollie Watkins to Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal.
Chelsea have strengthened their goalkeeping options with the £7.5m signing of Argentina international Emiliano Martinez from Aston Villa. The club have also confirmed Jackson’s departure after the Senegal striker spent three seasons at Stamford Bridge.
Transfer deals across the domestic leagues
Manchester City midfielder Tijjani Reijnders has left for Saudi Pro League side Al-Qadsiah in a £52m deal, while Leeds United have recruited Borussia Mönchengladbach defender Nico Elvedi for £8.5m.
There has also been substantial activity among newly promoted and established EFL clubs. Southampton have made goalkeeper Daniel Peretz’s move from Bayern Munich permanent, while Championship sides have continued to use the loan market to add depth before the opening weeks of the campaign.
In Scotland, Rangers have brought in Aston Villa right-back Kosta Nedeljkovic on loan and completed the signing of Hannover midfielder Daisuke Yokota. Celtic have allowed winger Michel-Ange Balikwisha to join Gent on loan.
The Women’s Super League has featured in the August list too, with Manchester United signing teenage defender Jusu Bah from BK Häcken for £400,000. Liverpool have added Tenerife defender Natalia Ramos, while Brighton have recruited Manchester United full-back Gabby George.
The transfer window reopened on 15 June and is due to close at 23:00 BST on Tuesday, 1 September. Clubs can still complete further business before the deadline, with the final days expected to bring additional moves across the Premier League, Scottish Premiership, EFL and WSL.
