Two people have died after an alleged hit-and-run driver struck a group of cyclists in Montclair, California, with one victim reportedly dragged for more than a mile.
The collision happened at about 10pm on Saturday night, according to a report by KTLA.
Neighbours said a group of young men, possibly teenagers, had been cycling together when a grey Honda reportedly crashed into them.
One of the victims was left in a residential neighbourhood after being dragged by the car. It remains unclear whether that person was among the two people killed.
Images from the scene showed bicycles scattered across the road and one of the deceased covered by a blanket.
Police have not identified any of the victims, and no possible suspect has been named.
