Farmer Wants A Wife couple Todd and Daisy have announced they are separating, two years after meeting on the reality dating show.
The pair confirmed the decision in a joint Instagram statement, saying it was mutual and that there was “no bitterness or bad blood” between them.
“This is a delicate and difficult time for everyone involved, so we kindly ask that our privacy is respected as we navigate this change,” they said.
They added that some aspects of their relationship would remain private “out of respect for one another”, while asking people to be considerate of the feelings involved.
“We’re both grateful for the love and support we’ve received and hope everyone can respect our decision and allow us the space to move forward in our own way,” the statement said. “Please be kind — there are real people and feelings behind what you see online.”
Todd and Daisy’s relationship after Farmer Wants A Wife
Todd, a cattle farmer from New South Wales, met Daisy during the 2024 season of Farmer Wants A Wife. Daisy, a former gym manager from Townsville, attracted attention after breaking a house rule to visit Todd’s bedroom, prompting clashes with fellow contestant Jacinta.
Despite the tensions, Todd chose Daisy as his final partner. During the show, he told her: “Finding love is a big risk. I’m willing to take the risk with you, Daisy.”
“I can finally give you the reassurance that I am definitely falling in love with you,” he said.
Daisy responded by looking ahead to their future together, saying: “This is where the exciting part starts, right? Forever.”
After the finale, Daisy moved from Queensland to Todd’s cattle property in Baan Baa, where she helped on the farm and secured a job in real estate.
The couple celebrated their first anniversary in December last year and had previously spoken openly about plans to marry one day.
In their separation statement, however, Todd and Daisy said they had given the relationship everything they could and did not want to damage the friendship, care and respect they still shared.
“Sometimes knowing when to walk away is just as important as knowing when to keep fighting,” they said.
