Thomas Markle Sr, Meghan Markle’s estranged father, has been arrested by the FBI in Florida over allegations involving child sexual abuse material.
The 82-year-old was taken into custody on Friday after weeks of claims concerning material allegedly found at properties linked to him overseas.
Federal agents reportedly went to a senior living facility in Lakeland, where Mr Markle has been staying since returning to the United States after time in the Philippines.
Images taken by local media appeared to show the former Hollywood lighting director in handcuffs and being pushed in a wheelchair by officers.
