Rob Valetini has been dropped to the bench for Australia’s clash with England at Twickenham, while Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii returns to the wing in a reshaped Wallabies side.
Coach Les Kiss has moved Jeremy Williams into the No.6 jersey, allowing Josh Canham to return to the starting second row alongside Lukhan Salakaia-Loto. Valetini, who has started every Test for Australia this year, will provide cover from the replacements.
The 71-cap forward has started 63 of his Tests and is a two-time John Eales medallist. Williams has played six Super Rugby matches in the back row for the Waratahs and Western Force, but has never started there in a Test.
Len Ikitau returns after missing the Sydney Bledisloe Cup match because of concussion. He will line up at inside centre, with Isaac Henry moving to outside centre and Harry Potter making way for Suaalii on the wing.
Declan Meredith retains the No.10 jersey, while Max Jorgensen and Tom Wright complete the back three with Suaalii.
Taniela Tupou is also back in the squad and has been named among a powerful group of replacements. Kiss has included Angus Bell at loosehead prop and Billy Pollard at hooker, with Josh Nasser moving to the bench.
Isaac Kailea has been recalled as reserve prop, while Ben Donaldson returns from a groin injury to cover fly-half. Tate McDermott and Carlo Tizzano are also among the substitutes.
Harry Wilson will captain Australia when the Wallabies face England at Twickenham on Monday.
