Heidi Klum has unveiled a giant severed hand costume at her annual Halloween party in New York City, once again embracing the elaborate transformations that have earned her the title “Queen of Halloween”.
The 53-year-old German-American model appeared almost completely hidden inside the prosthetic creation at the star-studded event on Saturday night.
The costume featured five enormous fingers with long blood-red nails. Fake blood covered the severed wrist, while exposed flesh and dangling tendons completed the gruesome effect.
Klum’s face was concealed beneath the palm, leaving only her eyes and mouth visible. “I looked at my hand and I thought, ‘Hey, I think I could fit my body in this somehow,’” she said.
She told E! News that the costume took about six hours to put on, after a team of 15 people had spent months preparing the transformation.
A replica of Klum’s wedding ring from her husband, Tom Kaulitz, was also incorporated into the outfit.
The model has built a reputation for increasingly elaborate Halloween costumes. In 2022 she appeared as a giant worm, followed by a peacock in 2023, with dancers dressed as feathers.
She portrayed E.T. from Steven Spielberg’s 1982 film in 2024 and Medusa in 2025.
Klum first hosted her annual Halloween party in 2000, and the event has since become a fixture on New York’s celebrity calendar.
