Jalen Brunson brought his New York Knicks team-mates on stage during the opening monologue of Saturday Night Live’s season premiere.
The 30-year-old basketball player told the audience he would answer questions, before the camera turned to Josh Hart, OG Anunoby, Mikal Bridges and Karl-Anthony Towns sitting together in the crowd.
Hart asked Brunson: “Is it true that you took a $113 million pay cut just to resign with the Knicks?”
“Yeah, that’s pretty true,” Brunson replied. Hart then followed up: “Wow, so is that money, like, still up for grabs?”
The four Knicks players joined Brunson on stage at the end of the monologue.
