Actor Keegan Allen was allegedly robbed at gunpoint and struck in the face during an incident in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, police said.
The Pretty Little Liars star was approached by two men dressed in black on Santa Monica Boulevard on Thursday night, according to police. One suspect allegedly pointed a handgun at him while the other displayed a knife and demanded his watch and bracelet.
The gunman is accused of hitting Allen in the face with the weapon before taking his watch and escaping with the other man in a vehicle.
Police and paramedics attended the scene, where Allen was treated for a head laceration. He was not taken to hospital.
Allen later described the alleged robbery in an Instagram video, saying he had been outside Laurel Supply when two masked young men confronted him. He said one of them struck him, pointed a gun and a knife at him, threatened to kill him and then fled.
Blood could be seen running down Allen’s face and onto his clothing in the video. He also said West Hollywood no longer felt safe and that he believed his life had been spared after the suspects threatened him over his watch.
Surveillance footage shared by Allen appeared to show the masked suspects outside a luxury grocery store. Reports on the Citizen app indicated that a Rolex watch was stolen.
