Prosecutors are continuing to present evidence in the capital murder trial of Dallas rapper Yella Beezy, who is accused of arranging the killing of fellow artist MO3 in an alleged murder-for-hire plot.
Beezy, whose legal name is Markies Conway, is accused of paying Kewon White to shoot Melvin Noble, known professionally as MO3, during an ambush on Interstate 35 in Dallas in November 2020. Conway has pleaded not guilty and denies involvement. ([fox4news.com](https://www.fox4news.com/news/yella-beezy-trial-dallas-rapper-mo3-murder-day-3))

Evidence heard in the MO3 murder trial
On the previous day, Dr Randall Graham told jurors he was caught in traffic on I-35 when an unarmed man ran past his Audi, pursued by a masked gunman carrying a rifle. A bullet shattered the vehicle’s windscreen and sent glass and shrapnel into his neck.
Graham said he then performed CPR on Noble for about 25 minutes while waiting for paramedics. He described seeing the wounded rapper breathing after the shooting, according to evidence reported from the courtroom.
Crime-scene investigators also described recovering cartridge cases, bullet fragments and blood from several lanes of the motorway. Noble’s gold Honda Accord and Graham’s car both showed signs of gunfire.
Investigators said an initial search of Noble’s vehicle found jewellery, his driving licence and 17,960 US dollars in cash, but no firearm. A Glock pistol was later discovered concealed inside the impounded Accord during a police dog search in October 2023.
Jurors were shown surveillance footage appearing to show Noble’s Accord travelling along Ledbetter Drive, followed about 40 seconds later by a black Chevrolet Camaro. Further footage showed the Camaro in a car park near the home of Noble’s girlfriend, Jocylynn Jackson.
Police testimony also covered searches of properties on Ramona Avenue and Britton Avenue, where officers said they found firearms, ammunition, drugs, security equipment and mobile phones linked to White and another defendant, Devin Brown.
Prosecutors allege the killing followed a long-running feud between Conway and Noble. CBS Texas reported that the state claims Conway paid White and Brown 40,000 US dollars to carry out the murder, although prosecutors had not yet presented evidence directly linking Conway to the crime by the end of the second day. White was convicted of capital murder and sentenced to life in prison last month. Brown remains charged with capital murder and is expected to face trial separately next month. ([cbsnews.com](https://www.cbsnews.com/texas/news/yella-beezy-mo3-capital-murder-trial-10-27-2026/))
The prosecution must persuade the jury that Conway arranged and financed the killing. The defence maintains that he had no involvement.
