KATSEYE will make their Australian live debut with shows in Melbourne and Sydney as part of their expanding WILDWORLD tour.
The six-member group will perform in Melbourne on February 24 before travelling to Sydney for a concert on February 28.
The announcement followed the appearance of projections bearing the word “WILD” across the two cities, prompting speculation among fans.
The tour, initially due to finish in late November, has been extended with dates across Asia, Australia and New Zealand. It has already sold out shows in North America, the UK and Europe.
The additional run begins in Yokohama, Japan, on January 27, followed by performances in Manila, Hong Kong, Seoul, Cebu, Singapore, Bangkok and Taipei before KATSEYE arrive in Australia.
The group will complete the tour at Auckland’s Spark Arena on March 5.
KATSEYE was created in 2023 through The Debut: Dream Academy, a talent competition established by South Korean entertainment company HYBE and US record label Geffen Records.
Its members are Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Manon Bannerman, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza and Yoonchae Jeung, who were selected from more than 120,000 applicants worldwide.
Since officially debuting in 2024, KATSEYE have built an international profile with songs including Touch, Gnarly and Gabriela. The group received two Grammy nominations, including Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for Gabriela.
They also have an Australian connection through producer Taka Perry, who co-wrote and produced Touch. Perry grew up in Canberra and later moved to Sydney to pursue a career in music.
