Milo Yiannopoulos’s payments from Yeezy could be seized to meet a spousal support obligation claimed by his estranged husband, according to court documents filed in Los Angeles.
John Campbell is asking a judge to order part of the former Kanye West chief of staff’s income to be paid to him. The request comes as divorce proceedings between the pair remain unresolved.
Campbell alleges that Yiannopoulos has been spending money at the luxury department store Harrods in London rather than meeting his court-ordered obligations.
He has urged the court to act quickly, arguing that delays could allow Yiannopoulos to move assets into offshore accounts and cut his remaining ties with the United States.
Yiannopoulos was detained by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement in August and was subsequently sent back to the United Kingdom.
Asked for comment, Yiannopoulos responded: “But from the bottom of my heart, f**k you.”
The divorce had not been finalised before his deportation. During the case, both men made allegations of verbal abuse, while Campbell also claimed that Yiannopoulos had frequently used the n-word.
