Caroline Stanbury is launching a four-day Maldives retreat for women seeking personal growth, with applicants required to pay a $5,000 (£3,700) deposit before they can be approved.
The Real Housewives of Dubai star, 50, is inviting guests to her Stanbury Retreats event on a private island in November. The full cost has not yet been disclosed.
The programme will include group coaching focused on transformational conversations, alongside curated wellness and personal-growth experiences.
Stanbury, who previously counted the then Prince Andrew among her close friends, describes herself as “the queen of reinvention” in promotional material for the retreat.
“I want to inspire you and let you know, that your next chapter is going to be the best one yet,” she says. “This is not just a holiday. It’s an investment in your future.”
The television personality, who shot to fame on Ladies Of London in 2014, is reported to be worth $30 million (£22 million) and lives in Dubai with her husband, former footballer Sergio Carrallo.
Discussing the type of people she wants to surround herself with, Stanbury said she had once watched TikTok videos advising people to “get rid of your broke friends” but rejected the idea of abandoning friends from different backgrounds.
She said her criticism was aimed instead at people who had become resigned to their circumstances, describing them as “content-broke or pity-broke” and claiming they could become a mental drain on those around them.
“I don’t mean literally go out and get rid of all your broke friends,” she said. “But what I do mean is the ones that think broke.”
