Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport has been hit again, with a missile striking a passenger terminal and wounding dozens of people, according to a regional official.
The attack comes as US President Donald Trump considers whether the United States should join Saudi military strikes against Iran-backed Houthi rebels in neighbouring Yemen.
The Houthis claimed responsibility for earlier attacks against Saudi Arabia this week. King Khalid International Airport has been targeted several times, with four people killed in previous incidents.
Fighting in Yemen has intensified since Saudi-backed government forces launched a major military offensive against the Houthis a week ago.
Trump told reporters he was evaluating whether the US should take part in the Saudi strikes. The latest missile attack adds to tensions as the conflict continues to spill across the region.
