Tottenham have made a surprise approach for Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo, while Serie A club Como are assessing a move for goalkeeper Robert Sánchez as the Blues look to resolve two late transfer-window decisions.
Spurs are understood to be considering Tosin as they seek further defensive cover, with Kevin Danso expected to leave the club. The 28-year-old joined Chelsea from Fulham in 2024 and has since been used primarily as a squad option at Stamford Bridge.
Tottenham’s interest comes as Chelsea continue to reduce the size of their first-team squad. The club have invested heavily in central defence this summer and are believed to be open to offers for several players in that position.
Como, meanwhile, have emerged as a possible destination for Sánchez. The Italian side are assessing their goalkeeping options after the arrival of Emiliano Martínez at Chelsea, which has left the Spanish international’s future uncertain.
Sánchez has been made available to find a new club, with intermediaries exploring possible moves. Como’s immediate priority is understood to be strengthening their attack, but the club are also considering whether to recruit another goalkeeper.
The Premier League transfer window closes at 11pm on Tuesday, September 1, leaving Chelsea and the interested clubs little time to reach agreements. Neither move is understood to have been completed, and both remain subject to negotiations over the players’ availability and terms.
