Judges grilled President Donald Trump’s lawyers on Thursday as they sought to overturn his conviction in the Stormy Daniels hush-money case.
Trump was found guilty by a unanimous jury on 34 felony counts linked to a 2016 payment to the adult film star.
His legal team argued that some of the evidence presented to jurors could be covered by presidential immunity, and should therefore not have been used in the case.
CBS News legal analyst Jessica Levinson provided analysis of the arguments as the judges considered the attempt to have the convictions thrown out.
