Western Australian Local Government Minister Hannah Beazley has been accused by mayors of devaluing the sector after declaring she was “sick of local government chaos”.
The minister’s comments came as infighting at another council spilled into an online slanging match, intensifying tensions across local government.
Mayors criticised Ms Beazley’s approach, arguing that it undermined the standing of the local government sector amid the latest dispute.
