A 41-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly breaking into a home in West Seattle, eating food in the kitchen and climbing into a bed.
Seattle police were called to the area at about 2pm on Sunday, after reports that a man had tried to enter an occupied house in the 7000 block of Fauntleroy Way Southwest.
Police said he was unable to get inside and instead continued along the street, where he allegedly forced open the back door of an unoccupied property near Southwest Austin Street.
After helping himself to food, the man reportedly went into one of the rooms. Officers searching the house found him lying in a bed under the covers and arrested him without incident.
The suspect was booked into King County Jail on two counts of residential burglary, according to the Seattle Police Department. His name and details of any court appearance have not been released.
