Jay-Z is reportedly set to headline the 2027 Super Bowl halftime show, marking a move that would see the rapper perform at an event he has helped oversee since 2019.
Puck reported that multiple sources had confirmed Jay-Z as the planned headliner, following months of speculation that he was being considered for the performance.
The report has not been formally confirmed, and details of the show remain unclear.
Other contenders for the 2027 Super Bowl halftime show
Harry Styles, Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber were also among the names linked with the 2027 slot.
Cyrus recently returned to live music with headline performances at the Hollywood Bowl. Her appearances prompted speculation that they could serve as a test for a potential halftime show and a longer residency next year.
Styles is due to complete the 2026 dates of his Together Together tour on December 13, before beginning its next leg in April. Bieber, meanwhile, headlined Coachella earlier this year and was also considered a possible choice.
Potential special guests for Jay-Z
If Jay-Z takes the stage, there is speculation that his wife, Beyoncé, could appear. It would be her third Super Bowl halftime show appearance, after she headlined in 2013 and returned as a special guest in 2016.
Jay-Z could also invite artists represented by Roc Nation, including Rihanna, J. Cole, Megan Thee Stallion, A$AP Rocky and Alicia Keys.
However, neither the headline performance nor any potential guest appearances have been confirmed.
