A 39-year-old worker has been taken to hospital in a critical condition after falling 12 floors from scaffolding at a construction site in Bondi Junction, Sydney.
Emergency services were called to the site on Oxford Street, near York Road, at about 11.10am on Tuesday following the workplace accident.
New South Wales Police said officers were told the man had fallen from the scaffolding. Paramedics treated him for critical head injuries before transporting him to Royal North Shore Hospital.
Images from the scene showed paramedics gathered beside the scaffolding, with a white tarp being used to shield the area from view.
SafeWork NSW has been notified, police said.
