Barry Keoghan has revealed he has undergone a skin-tightening treatment, saying the procedure has helped him feel better about himself.
The 34-year-old Oscar nominee appeared in a video shared by London-based facialist Nilam Holmes, who said she had worked with the actor through “different movies, campaigns and projects”.
Keoghan said each appointment was “very relaxing and therapeutic”, adding: “Nilam looks after my skin. I feel better about myself. I look better. I think it’s important to look after yourself inside and outside.”
The treatment shown in the video is called Xerf and was Keoghan’s second session. Holmes said his skin had “really improved over the last few years and he looks great”.
The Saltburn star previously spoke about the online bullying he has faced over his appearance, saying the abuse had made him “shy away” and “not want to go outside”.
Keoghan is now preparing for the release of Sam Mendes’ four films about The Beatles, with each film focusing on a different member of the band. He plays drummer Ringo Starr and recently reunited with Paul Mescal, Harris Dickinson and Joseph Quinn to recreate an iconic moment from 1964.
