White and Gyokeres have known each other since their time at Brighton, before taking different career paths and eventually becoming team-mates again at Arsenal.
White has previously praised the Sweden international, describing him as “a monster” who “lives for goals”. His golf performance, however, suggested there is still room for improvement away from the football pitch.
Gyokeres has been in strong form for Sweden during the international break, scoring regularly in the Nations League, although his Arsenal season has begun more quietly.
For now, White has a particularly memorable reminder of his team-mate’s golf swing — and one Gyokeres may prefer not to see repeated.
