Blake Berris’s estranged wife has filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences and stating that the couple have been separated since September 2024.
Alexandra McGuinness filed the papers on Thursday. They state that she and the Days of Our Lives actor married on 26 August 2017, meaning their marriage lasted around seven years before their separation.
McGuinness said they share three minor children and is seeking joint legal and physical custody. She is also requesting spousal support while asking the court to prevent Berris from being awarded support.
The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Lir, in 2019. They later had twin boys in 2021, bringing the family to five.
Berris is best known for his roles in the long-running daytime soap Days of Our Lives. He played Nick Fallon before returning to the programme as Everett Lynch, work which earned him recognition from the Daytime Emmy Awards.
McGuinness, a filmmaker, also directed Berris in the feature film Highway.
