Cardi B has delivered a high-energy Tiny Desk performance, performing eight of her biggest songs in a set lasting less than 20 minutes.
The rapper included “Up” and “Bodak Yellow” before ending with “I Like It”, her chart-topping collaboration. The performance was filmed for NPR’s Tiny Desk series.
Cardi performed in black leather trousers and a blazer, taking centre stage as a full band played in the compact setting.
The musicians included bass, piano, guitar, drums, saxophone and trumpet, alongside backing vocalists.
Despite the size of the space, the arrangement gave the performance a broad live sound, while Cardi remained the focus throughout the set.
