Collin Gosselin tackled and repeatedly struck a padded sparring partner during an episode of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, after being told to channel his anger towards his mother, Kate Gosselin.
Speaking in a confessional, Collin said: “I’m here because my mother has taken a lot of things away from me, but this course is something she can’t take away. She took away my childhood, she took away my freedom … and I have a lot of anger.”
Before the challenge, a drill staff instructor told him to “use that anger, use that rage” against the partner, who was protected by red padding.
The instructor added: “I want you to go crazy right now. When you see red, that’s your mom.” Collin then screamed, charged at the partner and tackled them, delivering a series of punches and elbows.
Collin has previously alleged that Kate was abusive towards him during his childhood. Kate has dismissed the allegations, suggesting that his account is linked to his mental illness.
