A coroner is to examine how state agencies could have better protected an eight-year-old girl who was killed by her parents and an associated fringe religious group.
The inquiry will focus on whether warning signs were missed and how the child’s circumstances were handled by public authorities before her death.
Its central aim is to establish what more could have been done to safeguard the girl and whether agencies responsible for her welfare responded appropriately.
