Guillermo Rodriguez has been eliminated from Dancing with the Stars after the competition’s fifth week, becoming the sixth celebrity to leave season 35.
The Jimmy Kimmel Live star was partnered with professional dancer Witney Carson. Their departure was decided by a combination of judges’ scores and viewers’ votes.
Tuesday night’s episode, which aired on October 13, was themed around the Super Bowl, with the 11 remaining contestants performing to songs associated with some of the event’s most memorable performances.
Monday Night Football commentator Joe Buck joined the regular judging panel as a special guest, giving the couples the opportunity to earn higher scores.
After the performances and the close of live voting, hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough announced which dancing couples were safe. Rodriguez and Carson were ultimately sent home.
The 2027 Super Bowl is due to air on ABC in February.
